Scanoi is a document scanner. Your scans stay on your phone.

Your documents never leave your device. Scanning, edge detection, text recognition and PDF creation all run on the phone itself. Scanoi has no server that receives your scans, and no account to upload them to.
When you scan, Scanoi uses the document scanner built into your operating system — VisionKit on iOS, ML Kit on Android. Text recognition uses ML Kit's on-device recogniser. The PDF is produced by your phone's own print engine. The resulting file, its preview image and any recognised text are written to Scanoi's private storage on your device.
None of that is transmitted anywhere. Deleting a document in the app, or deleting the app, removes it.
Scanoi sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, an analytics service, so we can see which screens people reach and where the app fails. These events never contain your documents, their contents, their file names or the recognised text.

We do not ask for your name, e-mail address or phone number, and there is no sign-up. We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not run ads, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
Scanoi Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm whether a subscription is active; it receives an anonymous identifier and the purchase receipt from the store, nothing else.
Scanoi is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
To delete your Scanoi data: (1) delete the app, which stops all collection; (2) e-mail support@mewai.app with the subject Scanoi data deletion, your phone model and roughly when you installed it; (3) we delete the analytics and the subscription record within 30 days and confirm by reply. Because there is no account, we hold nothing that identifies you. If you would like the anonymous analytics associated with your installation deleted, follow the steps above. You can also stop all collection by deleting the app.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects what is collected, note it in the app's release notes.
By installing or using Scanoi you agree to these terms. Scanoi is published by Monexa LLC. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You may use Scanoi to scan documents you have the right to scan, for personal or business purposes, on devices you own or control. The documents you create are yours.
Scanoi Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. The price shown in the app is the price for your country, in your currency, taken live from the store — it is never stored in the app. Where a free trial is offered, it is granted by the store, and the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Cancel any time in your App Store account settings or Google Play subscriptions — not in Scanoi, because we cannot cancel it for you. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies.
Because scans are stored only on your device, they are not backed up by us and we cannot recover them. If your phone is lost, reset, or the app is deleted, the documents go with it. Export anything you need to keep.
Scanoi is provided as is. Text recognition is performed by your device's software and will not always be perfect; do not rely on it for anything where an error would matter without checking the result yourself. To the extent permitted by law, Monexa LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app.
You may stop using Scanoi at any time by deleting it. We may suspend the app for a user who breaches these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Scanoi by Monexa LLC has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign in to and nothing to close. Almost everything lives on your phone, and you delete it yourself.
Your scans, their text and your saved signature are stored only on the device. Delete a document in the app to remove it, or delete the app to remove all of them at once. We never receive a copy, so there is nothing for us to delete.
Apple and Google keep their own receipt of any purchase. We do not control those records; you can manage them in your Apple ID or Google Play account.
